OUR STORY

SOLID was born out of a moment that could’ve knocked us down—but instead, it lit a fire. While working security, I designed a logo for the owner of a semi-successful streetwear brand. He promised to pay me after design was finished but never did. That letdown pushed me to build something of my own—something real, something solid.

To us, SOLID isn’t just our brands name—it’s a mindset. It means staying true to who you are, standing by your people, and keeping your foundation strong no matter what life throws at you.

In the early days, I almost walked away from it all when my first business partner dipped just a few months in. But not long after, I ran into Kice at the SF Giants championship parade. He told me he believed in what I was doing and wanted to build together. Since then, we’ve been locked in.

SOLID is rooted in the culture we grew up in—urban streetwear with deep Bay Area roots. We come from places where things weren’t always safe or easy. We hooped, we hustled, we smoked, and we created. Loyalty is everything to us. The kind of loyalty that gets you through hard times, that holds your team together when the world wants to pull it apart.

We started from the bottom—literally buying defected tees from wholesale spots, printing shirts in a friend’s garage, and flipping what we could. Over time, we’ve elevated everything: the materials, the designs, the cuts. Whether it’s tees, hoodies, sweatsuits, or beanies—everything we put out is meant to make you feel elite and comfortable at the same time.

I still design almost everything myself—from the clothes to the ads, the site, the socials. Every drop is a reflection of what’s happening in my life at the time—real art from real moments. The journey hasn’t been easy, but our faith and vision have kept us pushing forward.

Looking ahead, we’re focused on expanding the brand with authentic collabs. These partnerships are a way to keep growing and reaching new levels while staying true to our roots.

At the end of the day, SOLID is more than streetwear. It’s loyalty. It’s hustle. It’s art. It’s family. And we’re just getting started.
